Turkish law does not yet have an independent liability regime specific to artificial intelligence. Where a company AI tool causes harm to a third party through an erroneous decision, liability largely falls on the company itself.

• Clarify the points at which automated decisions remain subject to human oversight
• Explicitly allocate liability in contracts with AI vendors and suppliers
• Fulfil disclosure obligations under KVKK regarding automated profiling and decision-making
